Black Friday 2024 is over, but the AI revolution is just getting started.
ICYMI: Shopify merchants generated $11.5 billion in worldwide sales over Black Friday Cyber Monday weekend. That broke Shopify's 2023 record by 24%.
Not only was this Black Friday the third consecutive year of Black Friday ecommerce sales growth, it was also the first Black Friday in history to surpass $10 billion in U.S. ecommerce sales.
AI made a real mark on the BFCM festivities this year. Caila Schwartz, Salesforce director of consumer insights, said online retailers who use generative AI and agents in their customer service experiences saw a 9% higher conversion rate compared to those who are not.
It was a record-breaking weekend for Rebuy merchants as well.

💰 A total of $1,961,355 was added to orders via Rebuy post-purchase offers. That broke last year's record by 31.7%. Savvy brands leaned into post-purchase offers over Cyber Weekend, maximizing revenue and delivering added value when purchase intent peaks.
💻 Over 12.4 million orders and 5.7 billion requests streamed through the Rebuy platform during Cyber Weekend. Over 12,000 merchants trusted Rebuy to power their shopping experiences, and were rewarded with powerful, reliable AI personalization during peak shopping season.

Aviator Nation
Aviator Nation is becoming a fixture on Rebuy's list of BFCM top performers. It's good vibes all around as the '70s inspired fashion brand generated a righteous amount of extra revenue with Rebuy over Cyber Weekend.
How did they do it? By fully embracing a variety of growth tools, diversifying their Rebuy-powered revenue streams, and engaging customers with smart merchandising at multiple touchpoints. The company employs no less than five powerful merchandising tools including: Rebuy Smart Cart™, dynamic bundles, PDP carousels, post-purchase offers, and in-checkout recommendations.

Skincare brand Primally Pure generated positively stunning results over Cyber Weekend. Like Aviator Nation, the company used Rebuy Smart Cart and employed a number of tactics including subscription upsells, in-checkout recommendations, and dynamic bundles.
The beauty brand took an innovative approach to product bundling: a unique bundle widget on dozens of PDPs (product detail pages), allowing shoppers to build their own bundle from the PDP. The strategy paid dividends and the results are pure perfection, propelling them towards the top of this year's BFCM chart. Looking good, Primally Pure!
Bartesian
If there's one brand out there that loves dynamic bundles more than OLLY, it might just be Bartesian, maker of The Bartesian Cocktail Maker. Think of The Bartesian Cocktail Maker like a Keurig, but for cocktails.
